Having been a corporate and public sector consultant in the Enterprise Governance and Risk Management Strategy space for many years, working across a wide range of industry sectors, in partnership positions with Arthur Andersen and also Ernst and Young, Karin's current focus of work and research lies in the emerging business space, enabling greater interaction between socio-economic sustainability and environmental stewardship. She is a director of NSBrandExperience, focusing on Brand Risk Strategy.
Karin is a Research Associate with the Sustainability Research Unit of the NMU, and part-time lecturer at the NMU Business School, lecturing on Business Strategy, Leadership and Quality. She is also the founder of the Footsteps Foundation which focuses on youth skills development and job creation in the small distant vulnerable mostly rural communities.
